    Being told that you have cancer can be one of the most devastating things
    that can happen in life.  All of a sudden, the biggest most challenging problem
    in your life no longer seems that big or pressing.  The fear of suffering and
    death is prominent. And then comes the emotional roller coaster and fear;
    how and when will you tell your family. Who will raise the  children?  You may
    recall the suffering and death of a friend or  loved one as a result of cancer.
    You envision that happening to  you. Everyone is bio-chemically similar but
    also very different,  which makes no two experiences alike. The truth of the
    matter is that none of us have more than  the existing second of life available
    to us. Death is just a reality that seems more pressing when diagnosed with
    cancer.

    However, many often outlive those of us who have not been diagnosed with
    cancer.    So be encouraged, relax your mind and let’s put this in  perspective,
    so that we can develop your own strategy to do  battle.  The good news is that
    cancer is a health crisis not a  death sentence, but you are in for the fight
    of your life.

    Hopefully, by the time you have completed this book or have read  the relevant
    chapters, a lot of the mystery about your diagnosis  will be clear. Know that
    information is power. The more you learn  the less fear you will experience.
