Granny Smith Salad
    This dish is a great way to meet your daily fruit intake requirement. It is all
    raw and delicious! Granny Smith apples are alkaline based to help balance
    the body’s pH.
                Ingredients


    2 Large Granny Smith apples:  
    wash, remove core and seeds;
    do not remove skin.
    ½ cup organic raisins
    Juice of 1 orange (Valencia if
    possible)
    ¼ tsp maple syrup (optional)

           Instructions


    Place apples, raisins & orange
    juice in a food processor or
    blender. Pulse in a blender or a
    food processor until raisins are
    of puree consistency. Make sure
    to scrape sides of bowl to
    ensure complete mixture without
    chucks. Place into serving
    bowl. Add maple syrup and mix
    well.  Serve immediately.

    Serves 2.

    Refrigerate uneaten portion in an
    airtight container to preserve
    the enzymes.
