    Ingredients
    The juice of 3 small to medium lemons. 1 tsp of freshly ground ginger
    (optional - great for winter), 2 TBS raw unfiltered honey (or more) 3 1/2 cups of distilled or
    spring water. Makes two servings.

    Instructions
    Heat water to almost boiling. Remove from heat. Add lemon, ginger, honey and stir. Adjust
    honey to taste.

    Variation:
    Can be served chilled. Can also be sweetened with maple syrup or stevia.

    Medicinal Notes:

    Lemon is rich is vitamin C and boost the immune system. It is alkaline and helps
    maintain the body's pH balance. Lemon reduces mucous and helpful for respiratory
    tract infections, coughs and cold.

    Locally harvested honey can help fight pollen induced allergies.

    Ginger improves body circulation and aids the digestive process.
